I replaced an old keypad with a new one, but I am unable to get the button lights to behave properly for fan control. I must be missing something simple so I apologize. I have a 6-button keypad, with the on/off at the top and bottom controlling lights. The 4 central buttons control the fan. Low=button 5, Off=button 6, High=button 3, Med=button 4. I want button 5 to turn off when button 3 is pressed (low to high speed) and button 3 to turn off and 6 to turn on when the "off" button is pressed. It used to work this way and my other fan switch (different fan) works this way perfectly.
I can see how to put each switch in toggle, always on or always off mode. I assume I want them to all be toggle, but somehow to know only one of 4 should be lit at a time. Any ideas on how to accomplish it? Thanks.
