Can I somehow change the device state

I've had to redo my HA Z Wave devices and I need to get the correct state to report in Indigo. I have two tilt sensors that I want to show as Open/Close instead of On/Off. Also want to figure out how to get my Fibaro to report in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. I know I had this correct before the crash I just didn't document what or how I did.

Probably the EPS Device Extensions plugin to convert on/off true/false open/closed etc, and to convert °c/°f.

If the Fibaro supports it, there might be a parameter to set to change what it reports - what module is it?
