Nano Switch (ZW139) Delays Status Update

As a fix for a Whirlpool controller gone bad I installed a Nano Switch (ZW139) to control the On/Off of the motor. But from time of key press (even in Indigo directly) to execution it seems to hang sending the request. Often if I send the status request it will then execute. I Optimized the network, tried syncing again but seems to have that problem continue.

Any suggestions or ideas I can try?

Update: I do see this in the log often.

Removing the device completely and adding it back in without encryption seems to have worked. No delays

Re: Nano Switch (ZW139) Delays Status Update

Encryption greatly increases the number of messages that have to be passed around for a single event. I've noticed in general as well that there seems to be more failure/bugs when encryption is enabled (that tends to vary based on the device, as most of the locks seem to be pretty reliable). Point being, what you saw doesn't surprise me. :|
