ZWave outdoor temperature sensors?

Anyone aware of a ZWave enabled outdoor thermometer that can handle temperatures like we recently experienced in the northeast (low as -35F)? My Aeon multi-sensor definitely can't , and the other supported devices I've seen here are not designed to handle this range either.
This is surprising because my $27 projection clock

-so I'd imagine it should be very easy for manufacturers to make a simple ZWave enabled device that an outdoor sensor transmits to as it does with these inexpensive clocks.

You might try a solution where the temperature sensor is industrial temperature range, -40C to +85C, but plugs into the z-wave module kept in a warmer location. I like the 1-wire devices for temperature sensors.

By 1-wire do you mean a ZWave device that stays indoors with a 'probe' wire that runs outdoors? If so, that solution would work in my particular case.
Is there a particular one you could recommend?

Couldn’t you just get a RFXrec433 and read the temperature sensor your la crosse projection clock reads?

I’ve used DS18b20’s with success. But I use a insteon based smartenit EZIO8SA with them. I’m not sure they still make it.

I wasn't aware there was a wireless standard (433.92mhz) for these devices. Now that you have brought it to my attention, I'll see if this could work for me. The receiver devices do seem kind of pricey at over $200 for just my current needs.

If you're talking about the RFXrec433,
it's about $130 with shipping (depending on conversion rates).
