Five times during the past two weeks my 2413U is not responding in the morning when I first look at it. (Computer is always-on).
In Preferences > Interfaces > Insteon > Configure, a serial port displays. When I click the dropdown by the port, however, the port ID goes away.
Last night's log had:
2017-03-07 07:10:51.800 Power Failure possible power failure
2017-03-07 07:10:55.280 Interface Failure lost connection with interface
Resetting the 2413 doesn't not do anything; hard reset doesn't do anything. The only way I've found to reset it is to turn the computer off, reset the 2413, and turn the computer back on. Can't guarantee that the reset is needed, but that's what I'm doing anyway.
There *might* have been a power failure - not sure - but in any case everything should have reset.
Don't know how to start diagnosing whether this is a software or hardware problem, or what type of software problem it might be. Would prefer not to just dump $80 into a new 2413 if it isn't needed.
Has anyone else had similar issues?
