LED Strip Control

Seems I come back to this issue every year or so and find nothing happening for Indigo.
I'd really like to get Indigo control over any of the addressable LED effect strips,
e.g. LPD6803, LPD8806 etc.. to directly access their effect patterns.

For some reason it seems none of the addressable strips can be controlled via IR,
which of course would be a potential solution, or have any way to call up individual effects without
stepping though 100+ of them using an RF controller.

Long shot I know, but I'd surely appreciate any info on any new possibilities for Indigo
control over LED strips.
