No Sync

A few months ago I had a dimmer that I almost never use above the kitchen sink just stop working. After everything I tried I ended up replacing it. Today I found my outside front porch light was on. When I tried to turn it off at the switch I couldn't. I grabbed my IPad and turned it off with the control page but couldn't turn it back on with the switch. It appears to only work with the control page.

I then tried to resync the device and got the below error again just like the dimmer.

Z-Wave Syncing - started for "Outside Front Porch"
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved module neighbors list: 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55

What is causing this and do I have to replace another switch or is there a fix?

UPDATE: After checking several other devices it appears no matter what device I try to resync I am getting the same above error. But that doesn't still explain why I can't turn the light on at the switch but its still functional in control page

Re: No Sync

So, manual operation doesn't work but changing from Indigo does? That's a very odd failure case, but I suppose it could be that the manual mechanism in the switch is what's broken.

You'll probably want to do a resync, starting with devices that are physically closest to your Z-Stick and working your way out. This will make sure that the neighbor routes that each device stores are correct.

No Sync

Hi i had a simular problem with fibaro 2 Dimmers. On two dimmers the physical switch stoped working at the same time. The fix was to exlude and include them then it starten working again. /Martin
