Has anyone heard if there's a way to work with the Twist light and sound devices through Indigo?

I've not seen anything but despite this thread starting October 2015, the units only started shipping March 2017, and still only in pre-order batches.

There should be no reason the Airplay bit doesn't work out of the box as long as the light is on at the wall - it's possible with their app to button off the light output whilst still powered at the wall, but not vice-versa (which makes sense because no power = no power).

Man, I was pumped to pull the trigger on two of these for my back patio--until I saw the price!

If there were end user reviews about them I might still be tempted, but it's way too little info for me to drop that kind of money. Though I suppose the price does suggest that the sound will actually be the "premium" they talk about.

Lack of an open API is also a bummer.
