Local Server not found on startup

Whenever I start/restart the computer, Indigo never finds the local server. I have to click connect to local server and choose restart server for it to start. This is a problem since I need access for this to occur in a power failure etc..

Any way to change this behavior?

Re: Local Server not found on startup

Do you have the Indigo Mac App set as a startup item? If so, that's the issue. The server runs in the background and starts on login. If you have the client set as a startup app then it starts up before the server is fully started so it won't connect. You don't need the client running since the server runs in the background.

Ok so how do you set it so that the app starts after login to run without the need for intervention

The server or the client app? There's really no good reason that the client needs to run on login.

Ok I was under the impression that the client app needed to run for all the triggers etc to work…

The server handles all that. You only need the client app to configure or make changes to devices, schedules, actions, pages, etc..

Nope, That's all in the server. Client not needed for any automations.
