Encrypted z-wave device errors after Mac upgrade

I upgrade from a 2014 intel Mac to a Mac mini M1. Both running indigo 2022.2.2. I only copied over my home database file as I wanted to do fresh setup of plugins and some other stuff.

But now I get this in my log for every encrypted z-wave device on my network:

Code: Select all
Z-Wave Error                    encrypted command received from node ID 061 has invalid CBC-MAC value (ignoring)

All of my unencrypted z wave devices are behaving normally.

I assume my new install needs some private keys or something in some file somewhere? What do I need to do to port this over? Thanks!

You need to move the entire Indigo installation directory, not just the db file, for everything to work correctly.

ok, but can you say what specifically is needed just for the z-wave devices? I'd like to avoid moving all the other plugin prefs etc...

Try copying over this file:

/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 2022.2/Preferences/Plugins/com.perceptiveautomation.indigoplugin.zwave.indiPref

Re: Encrypted z-wave device errors after Mac upgrade

Thanks, tried that, but I guess I messed up my wave network in the mean time because it didn't work. Had to exclude and re-include all devices that had encryption. Z-wave is such a mess. Thanks for your help anyway!
