Not sure why they are showing up in the dock, but those are the processes that run plugins.

Re: Since installing 2022.1

Right. I’m reporting the odd behavior of them showing up in the dock, though. And I have WAY more pluginhosts running than that, but I never see more than three in the dock.

This is some problem with the latest MAC OS - I have seen that on my wife;s mac it was happening with a different program (she does not even have indigo on that machine) - she is running the most current MAC OS on her M1 laptop

Re: Since installing 2022.1

I'm up to date (12.5.1) on my MacBook Pro with an M1 and I don't see it. I wonder if there's some hidden macOS setting that instructs the dock to show background processes in the dock. Might be worth an internet search.

Re: Since installing 2022.1

It happens to me on a rare occasion; I've always believed it to be a macOS issue.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Re: Since installing 2022.1

Never happened to me before I moved to this new Mac and 2022.1

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/679 ... -dock-icon looks promising, but I'm missing something about the command, or else the NSApplicationActivationPolicy is a blanket, system wide setting. And as I delve deeper, it seems NSApplicationActivationPolicy would be changing things way above my pay grade.

I just noticed the following when I opened the folder. Is this normal?
