macOS' 12.3 changes and Python 2/3 issues during upgrade

I have my iMac running 11.6.5 (Big Sur) and it also has MacPorts installed with Python2 *and* Python3 installed under /opt/local/bin/ BUT NOT in the path before /usr/bin/ cos I didn't want to mess up other apps relying on macOS' out-of-the-box Python's. I use the full path to call my own MacPorts versions when needed.

Will Indigo installing Python2/Python3 "for me" (with the proposed new release) mess up my MacPorts' install of my own Pythons? I know it's in a diff path but there is a REASON I chose NOT to install the official python releases...instead choosing MacPorts' versions (chief among which is not running under Rosetta2!)

Thx

Jann

Won't touch it. It uses the standard installer from python.org which uses /usr/local/bin.

The Python 2 install is x86_64. The Python 3 install is x86_64 and arm64.
