Best work around after upgrading to 12.3.1

NOTE: Indigo 2022.1 has solved the compatibility issue with macOS Monterey 12.3+.

I missed the announcement (I am now subscribed to that page). What is my best bet now?

1) I have never used Time Machine to restore my system files, although I make hourly or more frequent updates. Should I try to do a full restore (if that exists)? In theory, I have a backup from yesterday, assuming Time Machine works properly. I could try to restore back to before the update. I have only used Time Machine in the past to restore individual data files.

2) I have a Macbook Pro 2016 model that is not doing much. I could set it up with Indigo and let it run Indigo Server for my network until an updated version of Indigo is released. If likely to be only a few weeks?

I'd do option #2 if I were you. Fill out the contact form and ask us to deactivate you license so that when you move the install to the other Mac you can activate it there (this is step #1 in those directions since you won't be able to do it yourself).

Re: Best work around after upgrading to 12.3.1

Thanks Jay. Yeah I did all that and I have everything working except the Sonos Plugin. For some reason, it will not load the plugin without error on when the MacBookPro is the Indigo Server. I set the listening IP to the IP of the MacBookPro but I get an error message in the log. I am comparing the log from today to the start up a month ago and I see where things break down, but I cannot diagnose the cause.

This is the current log:

Yep, I just wanted to document it in case someone else has the same question.

Re: Best work around after upgrading to 12.3.1

I figured out the issue. There is supposed to be a folder "Perceptive Automation\images\Sonos" that was missing. I tried to copy it over from the old server but had to change the permissions of the Perceptive Automation folder to get it in. Once the folder was there, the error messages went away and everything works as it did before,
