Re: Monterey

I use the homebridge plugin for Indigo, this is mandatory. But I have installed it manually without homebridge buddy. You can just download NodeJS installer LTS and install it. This will replace the latest version.

Re: Monterey

As far as the pre-release candidate goes, I'm only using it on my laptop running Monterey and just the Indigo Client, not the server. Not that you need me to tell you, but the UI bug seems to have been fixed with this version.

Re: Monterey

Has anyone using HomeKit Bridge successfully upgraded to Monterey? I see that Indigo 2021.2 is out and has addressed the current Monterey issues, but with HomeKit Bridge being unsupported, I've not yet upgraded to Monterey.

Re: Monterey

I do, quite happily. Be sure you get your Node.js Version to 16.13.0 before though

Re: Monterey

Awesome, thanks! I'm at 16.13.1 Node.js for Homebridge on the same machine, so I'll give it a go!

Re: Monterey

So I just updated to 16.3.1, so am willing to give this a shot. Do I need to update the Npm version? I'm at 8.1.2.

Actually, I'm on 8.1.0, so give it a shot. Can you report back? Curious about NPM 8.1.2

Re: Monterey

So for the moment, I'm running both HomeKit Bridge and Homebridge.

I did 'bite the bullet' and did the upgrade to Monterey, and from the Apple side of things, it went fairly easily. No real hiccups. A few System Prefs got changed, but those were easy to fix.

On the Indigo side, no real hiccups to mention either. I ended up with a few extra databases, mainly because I upgraded to 2021.2 at the same time, so no real surprise there.

Honestly, after I read that upgrading the Homebridge Node.js version worked on Monterey, I was ready to jump off the cliff.

Really, it was a smooth transition, and equally as important, everytihng seems to be working just as before. Hats off to Matt and Jay for making this really seamless on the Indigo side.

Homebridge seems to be running perfectly with Node.js v16.13.1 on a M1 iMac running Monterey as previously reported, and I'm on Npm Version 8.1.2, and so far, things seem to be working just fine.
