Happy this came out but I did not get any notification - how do I get a spot on the list to be notified when a new version comes out? My subscription is up to date - in any case— thanks for the update - sounds like some nice features got added !!!!!!

There are several different ways we notify about new releases:

  1. The Mac Client should notify you immediately upon release if you have Automatically check for updates checked in the General preferences.
  2. We immediately post the release notes in the Announcements section of the forums.
  3. We immediately post the release announcement in our blog.
  4. Within a day or so, we post to Facebook and Twitter a link to the announcement with our standard #new4indigo hashtag (expect that sometime today).
  5. Usually within a couple of weeks we push out an email blast.

We intentionally delay the last two somewhat so that we can spread the updates out a little. This is mostly so we can get early warning if there's something terribly wrong before a lot of people have upgraded. I don't think we've ever actually needed that, but we do it anyway out of an abundance of caution.

You can also use RSS to subscribe to blog posts and forum posts. Not sure what else we could realistically do... :?

Hmmm - I am already subscribed to that but I did not get a notification - O-Well - my super power is I can make anything not work.

PS - I’m so old I don’t even know what an RSS feed is for :-)

PPS - I unsubscribed and re-subscribed - maybe that will do something - happy holidays to all!!!!!

Re: Indigo 7.5 - Nice Christmas gift

Thank you for the nice gift. Upgraded and everything worked, flawlessly except for the HomeKit plugin. Fixed it by recreating the folder. The z-wave network, around one hundred devices, is definite faster.

Excellent job!

That's great news, we're hoping everyone will see the speed improvements. And people with a lot of Z-Wave traffic should notice significant improvements as well. Thanks!

Re: Indigo 7.5 - Nice Christmas gift

Thanks, Matt & Jay, Easiest upgrade ever!

Everything just worked!

PS: where's the Insteon improvements/additions?? Oh that's right... they have not come out with any new devices in ages! :?

Guess I picked the wrong hardware! :D

Happy Holidays to All!

Re: Indigo 7.5 - Nice Christmas gift

and from my side all my plugins
-pibeacon
-fingscan
-unifiAP
-indigoplotd
-utilities
-shellyDirect
-minMax
-homeAway
-arduino
seem to work.

And <ValueType>Float<ValueType> for the dev states .. seems to be working as described:
no more change from integer to real log message storm after new device is created

We did add the Match Brightness to Keypad LED State action - but, yeah, it certainly looks as if Insteon is on it's way out.
