How do I backup Indigo?

I had my server crash--hard.
I've reinstalled, and found an old copy of the database, but it's spotty.

I have everything back up and running now, but it wasn't easy.

Is there an automatic way to back up Indigo and all its pieces with iCloud?

Re: How do I backup Indigo?

I use Time Machine to backup all my Mac's. During a recent OS update I wound up with a missing Indigo database somehow. Anyway, all I had to do was use Time Machine to find the back up copy from the previous day and restore it.

Running Indigo 2023.2 on a 24" iMac M1), OS X 14.4

+1, while not perfect (there are Time Machine bugs which can cause restores to fail), it's generally pretty reliable.

If you want to do it another way, check the Backing Up Indigo section of the docs for details.

Re: How do I backup Indigo?

I have created an plugin that will perform a backup of the database...

Download from here. - viewtopic.php?t=8804&f=33

I'm unaware of any issues with the plugin.

Hey Benjamin - you might want to check all of your download links - they seem to be broken (and have been for a while). Maybe a good time to put them into the Plugin Store so you don't have to worry about downloads?

Weird. I'll review.

I've put a few in the Plugin store, but I ran into some issues with the plugin store not recognizing the GitHub repository. I'll try again this weekend... (It's been a while since I've tried....)
