ie Sierra to Catalina

Anything I need to be aware of - gotchas etc? Relating to Indigo serial devices etc?

Catalina is the last OS update for my trusty 2012 Mac mini.

Not saying that you'll definitely experience it, but there are the macOS High Sierra (and later) FTDI driver bugs that you could encounter. I have a 2012 mini that I started from scratch (never was upgraded from prior versions) which work for me, but YMMV.

mmmmm

I am looking at spreading the loading non my older Macs.

I have three

a 2018 Mac mini 3.2,Ghz 6 Core i7 with 16GB Ram
a 2012 Mac mini 2.6Ghz quad core i7 with 16Gb ram
and a 2011 iMac 27" 3.4GHz Quad core i7 with 16Gb ram

I tend to spec them well at purchase so I get at least 10 year out of them, my 2008 iMac only recently died :-(

Going to split out home tasks

2012 Mac mini - Indigo

2011 iMac run the Plex libraries - about 30TB

Open to ideas - any advice on which one is easier to move Indigo or Plex?
