What am I missing?

I just upgraded my 2011 Mac mini to the 2020 version.

I migrated the license fine and got the local version working.

Challenge I am facing is with the remote access via the touch application.

Steps I have gone through:
Local control access through Mini working
Confirm IP address on local machine: Remapped the new mini to the same IP address as decommissioned mini (DHCP w/ manual assignment) 192.168.1.108
Check DDNS server to confirm router IP address (points to actual ISP address)
Created an additional domain routing to the same IP address. (Now I have 2, but neither work from the iPhone App)
Changed the DDNS mapping to a new IP address (.108 to .208) just in case that mattered0
Router has not change, but 1176 and 8176 still forwarding to the mini, on both 108 and 208
Rebooted EVERYTHING to see if that helps

It seems to me everything SHOULD work, but feel like I am missing something....
App to DDNS domain - Check
DDNS to Router- Check
Router to port forwarding - Check
Port forwarding to Mini - Check
App Working - FAIL

I went from a VERY old install of OSX to Catalina, so not sure if that is the issue or I am missing something that I configured correctly 5+ years ago and can't recall.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: What am I missing?

Firewall on your Mac maybe blocking it? Try totally disabling it just for troubleshooting.

Other than that your list looks good. For troubleshooting I'd also try accessing Indigo's Web Server (port 8176) from Safari on an iPhone (over wifi). If that works you know the problem is at the router / port forwarding level. If that doesn't work but you can access the same URL using localhost on the Indigo Server mac itself, then it is the Mac's firewall.

If you're using an Indigo Reflector, try resetting the activation and recreating the connection in Indigo Touch.

Re: What am I missing?

Figured it out when troubleshooting the port numbers...

I didn't click the button that says "Start and connect to Indigo server..."

Once I did that all worked fine.

Checked all the hard stuff and not the one easy thing....

Ugh

Thanks for the help guys.
