Indigo 7.4 - No Applescripts error

I used the menu Help > Show AppleScript Usage in Event log.

I had one AppleScript Action Group listed in the Event Log.
I deleted it as I no longer needed it and then ran the help menu command again.

I got this error:
Error internal error calculating showDeprecatedUsage
Error UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xa0' in position 30: ordinal not in range(128)

I guess this may be related to the previous bug I reported? :)

Re: Indigo 7.4 - No Applescripts error

Just as another data point, I have no Applescripts and do not get that error. When I run the command, nothing appears to happen (to be clear something did happen when I still had Applescripts).

Suggestion: write "Found no AppleScripts" (or something like that) to the log when there are none.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Re: Indigo 7.4 - No Applescripts error

Interestingly enough, I had several triggers, schedules, and one action group, all deactivated. I deleted them all and then re-ran the tool and did not get an error, the tool returned nothing. I second the usage of a “No Applescripts Found” type of message.

Actually, that is a different unrelated unicode encoding buglet. Both of them will be fixed in 7.4.1, to be released soon.

Additionally, Indigo will now log a "nothing found" type message if you run the report and no embedded AppleScripts were found in your database.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Re: Indigo 7.4 - No Applescripts error

Indigo 7.4.1 is now available and fixes both of these bugs.
