Plugins lost after migrating to new Mac

Hi,

I just moved my Indigo installation to a new Mac following these steps. While my Indigo database and devices all seem fine, I seem to have lost all my plugins, is this normal? Also other settings were lost like SMTP.

Separately to this where is the best place to put custom scripts or even my Indigo database? It seems to me that I should not use /Library/Application Support/Indigo 7.3 since this folder is managed by Indigo. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Plugins lost after migrating to new Mac

The Indigo installer should have moved over any 3rd party plugins when it ran - which is why you do it specifically in the order specified (move the folder first, then run the installer for the new version).

Storing your database in the default location (INSTALLDIR/Databases) and scripts in the (INSTALLDIR/Scripts) folder is the best place. The Indigo installer will do the right thing with the stuff in those folders in terms of moving them (and in the case of the DB file the server will do whatever is necessary to convert it when it starts up).
