Help with Z-Wave setup

I just bought the Z-Wave GoControl QuickStick Combo. Before I plugged in the stick, I installed the Silicon Labs VCP driver kit on this page: http://www.indigodomo.com/silabsurl

After reboot, I do not see any of the documented serial ports available in the "enable z-wave" setup tool. There's nothing to select except a "usbserial" device, which is not it and causes indigo to throw errors.

I'm on Indigo 7.2.0 and mac OS 10.10.5.

Re: Help with Z-Wave setup

Just figured it out. OS X 10.10 is considered a "legacy OS" by silicon labs and you have to use their legacy installer, which comes in the same download package.

Yeah, OS versions and 3rd party drivers can cause issues like this. Glad you got it working. That's the stick I use for development and it seems very solid.
