Question on moving Indigo to a new Mac

I'm ready to move my indigo SW to a new mac. In preparation I copied the Perceptive Automation folder to the correct spot (Application Support) on the new Mac. I don't what to use backup and restore if possible.

My question is, what is the best next move. Should I download Indigo 7.2 on the new machine and install it so all the files are moved into the correct spots to run or is there something else I should do. I would like to avoid too much down time if possible.

Thx in advance for any help!

Re: Question on moving Indigo to a new Mac

That is what I was trying to avoid, old directions. I have deactivated my old license, installed on my new Mac.

I get this dialog - I do not understand what the ramifications of starting a new database will be - or where this is documented - can anyone help me?

You don't want a new database. Did you copy your old one over?

Re: Question on moving Indigo to a new Mac

Thanks, boy was I freaking out - I copied the Indigo dir over but did not know the database was in the doc folder - That was scary but everything is working now - I have a few plug-in path changes to make but otherwise looking good. Thanks for answering my cry for help!
