I hope someone can help with this; Yesterday after noon indigo crashed on my Mac mini server, and I can’t get it to restart. I restarted my server, ran clean my Mac. Nothinng. My Mac mini is working, other programs are working just fine ( I use this to run plex and Channels DVR, all is working just fine)

Any ideas?

I’m running a Mac mini with macOS Hi Serra , indigo 7.2

Any help. Would be great

What exactly is happening when you try and restart Indigo? What error messages do you see?

It would probably be worth running the Indigo 7.2 Installer just in case something has got corrupted. :)

It just spins, sometimes it says the server is unreachable, sometimes I’m seeing the “program not responding” from clean my Mac. It just won’t run

Have you done the re-install and tried starting Indigo afterwards?

Sometimes these clean programs can be a bit over-enthusiastic.

No, delete the old program and re-install? I can’t remember where my database is. I don’t want to rebuild that.

Don't delete anything!

Just rerun the Installer; this should correct anything that is wrong with the current install and leave your database file untouched. :)

If you haven't moved your database it will most likely be in:
Library > Application Support > Perceptive Automation > Indigo 7.2 > Databases
where Library is the the one on you main system disk e.g. Mackintosh HD (not the user library).

It is always advisable to have a backup. :)

Thank you I’ll give this a try now. I also have the old apps for indigo 6, and 7 should I delete the old apps too?

Not at the moment.

Get Indigo 7.2 working first. :)

Ran the installer, I get a log in for my email and activation code, but the system keeps spinning, and it won't allow me to log in. The program did appear for a minute, and went away, it just keeps trying to start the server.

I think I will have to bow out a this point and let Matt and|or Jay suggest the approach to take. :)

I also can't log into my reflector... Something is not connecting.

Thank you for your help today!

Can you be very specific about what "spinning" means and what "program did appear" means? I'm still unclear exactly what you're seeing/not seeing, etc. Also, did you reboot after rerunning the Indigo 7.2 installer?

I Did not reboot after running the installer. I'll try that now. Indigo starts up and just keeps saying its trying to reach the server, and nothing happens, then I get a message that "Unable to reach server:" I'm also not able to log into my reflector account, so I wonder if I need to reset my password.

Restarting now.

I rebooted, and I get a server connection status: "Establishing connection with indigo server..." the next message is "Failed to connect to Indigo Server. The Indigo Server is either unreachable over the network or is not running".

I attached 2 pics.

Are you sure the server is actually running? What happens if you select the "Start Local Server" option?
