Transfer

I just upgraded to a new Mac mini. I followed the transfer instructions. I de-activated my old indigo server and now installed 7.3 on my new mac mini. I copied all the files from the old one to the new one. So far so good. Then I tried to add my z-wave Aeotec Gen5 using the "interfaces--z-wave--configure. Unfortunately when I choose local (physical) the second dropdown menu "Serial Port:" does not provide any options. So now my z-wave interface does not work and I cannot control any of my devices.

Any idea how this could be remedied?

Re: Transfer

The gen5 Z-Stick uses macOS's built-in usbmodem driver, so it should work without installing any drivers (older Z-Sticks require the SILabs driver). If you aren't seeing it show in the serial port then try different USB ports, including any USB hubs you have. Do any of them work? If not, try your old Mac if you still have it to make sure the Z-Stick didn't just malfunction.

Re: Transfer

I made a mistake. It was the gen2 z-stick. I installed the drivers and now it works again! False alarm.

I'm glad you got it up and working again.
