Push a recorded sound file to DomoPad and have it auto play - is there a way to do this or is it / has it been considered - if so, is it possible - it would be a game changer for me. HUGE!

It would be really cool it it could be set up to auto repeat for high priority messages until a button was pressed to acknowledge the message was received.

For all of us in search of voice announcements!

I asked Jay to add this to touch - Jay said that once a year they write down all 10,000 new feature requests they have on tiny bits of paper. Then on Jan 1st they put them all in a hat, mix them up really good and then pull one out - that is the single user requested new feature for the next year. I asked Jay if I could ask for it more than once and he said - if I bug him they will take my bit of paper out of the hat. True story

More bad news Jay, I just spoke to Santa - when I mentioned your name he meowed something about a bag of coal

Since we’re talking about Android, could Tasker be used to do this outside of Domopad? I haven’t tried but that’s the first thing that came to mind. I remember it being pretty versatile.

Also, y’all stop pissing off the gods of feature requests, you may make the whole class suffer!

Hope everyone knows I was just kidding around - I'll look into Tasker, thanks for the heads up. Just seems like it would not be hard to play an MP3 but easy for me to say -- since I'm not the one coding it...

Our cat is really cool, he is getting old and has some kidney disease - my wife has to give him IV fluids everyday and he is really good about it - such a trooper and is the most gentle cat I have ever seen. Likes to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed and likes when you scratch between the pads on his feet -- he opens up his toes really wide - he has really big toes - so funny to watch him...

But I'm pretty sure he does not love his Santa suit as much as my wife does

SO, back on track to this discussion before it was derailed by cats... this is not 100% of what you are requesting, but it might be close enough for you to utilize...

PS. I just downloaded your beta - going to try messing with it this week - can't wait to try out the web view feature!

FWIW, that announcement will likely be in the next beta, but requires an updated plugin at the same time.
