Difference in Insteon Syncing Types within Indigo?

Good Day All,
What is the difference between an Indigo Batch Sync within the Insteon Interface menu and a 'Define and Sync' on a per device basis? Other than of course I seem to have better luck with a Define and Sync when the batch doesn't catch all of my Insteon devices.

If I am remembering correctly there isn't any difference. In older versions of Indigo (before 7.0) the Batch Sync didn't have the logic to handle rewriting links to modules that have i2CS firmware if the PowerLinc was replaced, but that is no longer a limitation.
