1132CU

Hi
Doing a clean new setup, old Mac OS 10.5 titanium died, which had been working for years.

MacBook Pro 13 (Mid 2012-9,2)
Mac OS 10.14.6
PowerLinc Controller 1132 previously working with Mac OS 10.5?
SystemProfiler/Information show USB 3 Bus> PowerLinc Smarthome PowerLinc Controller
PowerLinc plugged directly into MBP USB port

Also running Davis weather station that has CP2101 USB to UART Bridge Controller which is working fine with WeatherSnoop.

Have rebooted, shutdown powered everything down.
Gone through forum stuff for for replacing and removing FTDI drivers.
Checked and uncheck various options in interface settings & Powerlinc Troubleshooting.
Always get
Failed to Establish connection with interface. 1132CU has yet to actually connect to software.
PowerLInc 1132 Shows as crossed out in red in lowerleft hand corner

Thanks

Re: 1132CU

The PowerLinc 1132CU, PowerLinc 2414U, and CM15 use drivers not included by macOS (unlike the newer PowerLinc 2413U which uses a driver Apple includes).

The most recent version of Indigo installer doesn't include these drivers since they were discontinued several years ago and aren't compatible with newer Insteon modules. However, you can use an older Indigo installer to get the driver which you can download here.

To launch the installer you may need to right-click the Indigo Installer.pkg file (instead of double-clicking it) and select Open from the contextual menu, and then click the Open button in the resulting dialog. If you receive a certificate expired message ignore it (it is an old installer) and then:

1) Progress to the 3rd install screen then press the Customize button.
2) Deselect all items in the table except for Indigo Drivers item (you only want to install the drivers).
3) Proceed with the Install.
4) Restart your Mac.
5) You may have to go into the System Preferences -> Security panel to approve the driver, then restart again.

Re: 1132CU

Thanks, you are Awesome! Interface is up and have added a couple of X10 devices

Prompted me for SystemPreferences>Security>Allowed Apps dialog.
Also gave me a notice it was a legacy driver, and won't work in the next OS.

Does this mean Mac OS 10.14 is last OS that can interface with 1132CU (32bit driver?) ?

Do you know if the WeatherSnoop 3.0 plugin works with Weathersnoop 4.0?

mucho gracias

Yes, it should.
