Insteon/Honeywell Wireless Interference

I am having problems getting Insteon thermostats to work near a Honeywell 6120 alarm keypad.

I have tried using a Venstar thermostat with an Insteon plugin module and an Insteon 2441ZTH. Both work fine in other locations in my house, but neither work when they are at the location on the same wall as the Honeywell keypad. I even put an Insteon wireless extender in an outlet that is directly under the thermostat location. I can control lamp modules at that outlet with no problems so I know the Insteon powerline works.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. THank you.

Re: Insteon/Honeywell Wireless Interference

I solved my problem. It appears the newer Insteon Range Extender (2922-222) do not work/communicate with the Insteon Thermostat RF Adapters (2441V) on my Venstar Thermostats (T1700). However, the older Insteon Access Points (2443) work just fine. Once I plugged AP2443 near the Thermostat, I was able to communicate instantly. So much for backward compatibility . . . .
