New 2-way Outlets

So I got a pair of the new Insteon OutletLinc. (2663), that have individual Top and Bottom controls.. Seems you can't add both top and bottom to a PowerLInk. Either the Top.... or the Bottom... but not both.

AND.... I'm just now realizing that this is the case with Insteon KeyPads as well... you can only have one entry in each link.... so this kind of makes sense.

Its an easy fix... just create a new PowerLinc group, put the other side of each of my 2 outlets there, and just run both groups together. An easy work-around.

Re: New 2-way Outlets

Yeah, Indigo has a problem with creating Insteon groups that contain the same receiving module more than once. This has been on my ToDo list to fix forever, but because of some underlying assumptions and internal structures it will be a surprisingly time consuming change to implement. Given there is the workaround you discovered it never seems to make it to the top of my list.

Matt

I don't have to tell you there is most ALWAYS a workaround in Indigo!
