select all

I am having a couple issues:

1) the "Status" indicator doesn't seem to be refreshing
2) because of #1 above I "select all" (I have 92 devices...slowly inputting with 22 more devices to go) and "get status" - this generates a couple issues...
2)a) - I can not get out of the select all since I have so many devices I can not get to white space to click on
2)b) I get a ton of "errors"

The device states should be updating as you make turn the device on/off at the switch. Is that not working correctly? If not, does it fail for all of your devices all of the time? Do you see anything in the Event Log when you turn the device on/off?

If you have a device that isn't updating, try Re-Syncing the links via the Device dialog.

The status updates most of the time but not all of the time. This morning several timed events showed up in the log but did not control the lights...i.e. lights didn't go off that were suppose to and lights didn't come on that were suppose to...even though the events showed up in the log.

I have ~114 Insteon devices, 3 repeaters (a 4th not installed yet) and the PowerLinc. Does have the PowerLinc plugged into a surge protector affect reliability?

When I manually check status (log attached below) it corrects the status but I am still getting a lot of "send failed" errors

I think I found the problem...it seems to be related to associated UPS and/or Surge Protector...I have one FilterLinc but looks like I need a second FilterLinc. I have been able to eliminate most of the errors...we will see if I completely eliminate them after I get another FilterLinc.

I am still not convinced my status is being updated consistently.

I think you are on the right trail. With the number of devices you have, I wouldn't expect you to have these types of problems UNLESS the command is never getting from the PowerLinc to the modules reachable in the first hop. I've had a couple of customers that had Belkin/APC UPSs plugged in near their PowerLinc that was really attenuating the INSTEON (and X10) commands, so much so that they couldn't even make it to the devices reachable in the first hop. In addition to using a FilterLinc (or two, which I wouldn't think would be necessary but it is worth a try), try plugging a SignaLinc RF directly into the PowerLinc's pass through outlet. This will give you a RF bridge from the PowerLinc to the other RF reachable SignaLincs you have, thus escaping the UPS black hole event horizon.
