PowerLinc V2 disconnecting

Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the PowerLinc V2 disconnecting.

Mine works fine for a day or so, but then I get the following message.

Dec 19, 2005 11:46 PM
Error usb data read: failed2 (0xE00002ED)

After that, I have to quit Indigo and then unplug the USB cable from the PowerLinc and plug it back in. I can then restart Indigo and it will work again for about a day.

I have also noticed that since I installed the new driver, my mr-26 has stopped working.

Re: PowerLinc V2 disconnecting

Hi John,

Sounds like you are have a USB problem with either (or both) the PowerLinc or the MR-26 (via a Keyspan?). Do you have the PowerLinc V2 and Keyspan plugged into your Mac or a hub? I'd try moving things around to different USB ports, and would also try swapping USB cables if you have any spares. I believe what you are seeing is either a bad USB cable, bad USB hub, or bad PowerLinc V2/Keyspan. Not sure which though...

Regards,
Matt

I used to get this problem quite a lot -- every few hours in v1.6, every day or so in the early betas of v1.8. But since upgrading to the latest beta last week, I haven't experienced any USB communications problems at all.
