Mixing dimmers for 3 way circuits

Can I use the 2476 switchlinc for controlling a load and a 2876 Icon as a companion dimmer for a 3 way circuit?

Same question

I have the same question.

I did purchase one of each to test with. I will let you know after Christmas how it works out.

From the information on Smarthome it appears that the Smartlinc and the ICON are the same thing with some features disabled.

Re: Same question

Yes, I believe you can although I haven't yet tried it myself. The ICON switches look very capable given their price...

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Matt

They work together

I have successfully installed a 2476 and an ICON dimmer as companion switches in a 3-way circuit. In my case, the ICON happens to be the "primary" and the 2476 the "secondary" due to the incoming power location and the switch locations. Indigo has to actually control the lights with the ICON dimmer and Matt instructed me to create a Group Action so that the 2476 would show the proper LED position (50% brightness, in this case).
