Wave Plugin Modules Seem to be So Unreliable

The number of failed Z-Wave plugin modules is very disappointing. I have so many that work for 6 months to 2 years then fail. I have probably a 50% fail rate. My Insteon fail rate is much lower. Does anyone have any recommendations for reliable Z-Wave plugin modules?

Z-Wave modules? I have a mix of Zooz, Inovelli, Homeseer, and a few off-brands and have had only a couple of failures over the past 6 years or so. What brand were you buying as those seem very unreliable.

Here are the failed brands:

    Minoston
    Leviton
    HAOZEE
    Dome

Leviton had a warranty and sent me a replacement.

I just ordered a Zooz and am hoping this will be better..

I don't know Dome or HAOZEE (never heard of them). I've bought some Minoston units that didn't last a week. Leviton is a quality brand -- I have some Leviton switches that have been in service for more than a decade. As for plugin units, I don't use very many of them because I don't like their footprint, but I have several Lutron units that have been completely rock solid.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.
