serial port communications error

I'm running Indigo 2023.1.1 on a MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.6.1 and a Z-Stick Gen5+.

Everything has been running fine for a few months. This week I started getting periodic serial port communications error: read failed (errno 6) device not configured.

Apparently Indigo retries and it immediately reconnects.

These alerts are coming about every 15-20 minutes. I rebooted the MacBook and checked for Indigo updates, but that hasn't changed anything.

I do have the Z-Stick plugged in to an Apple Multiport dongle to convert to USB-C. I'll try a different dongle and see if that helps, but it seems odd that the dongle would just get flakey.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed

Despite my initial misgivings, changing the USB dongle seems to have stopped the errors.
