Aotec z wave Gen5+ Stick -> Somfy Blinds

I just added a z-Wave interface to my Indigo setup, hoping to control some motorized shades. These are somfy devices, which I guess use RTS protocol for communication from the remote to the shade. I *thought* I would be good to go with this zWave stick, but apparently I need some kind of bridge/hub/gateway? If anyone here has experience with this or advice, I’m a little stuck and could use some tips!

This might work?

Joe has a plugin for it in the store.

My Bali blinds are z-wave. They work fine with my indigo setup, requiring a few steps to get them full integrated though. Are you sure your blinds aren't Z-wave?

Somfy does not use z-wave.

Bali has both options from memory; Somfy or zwave.

They certainly have a zwave motor option.

Bond Home supports Somfy & Rollease blinds natively. I have both working with the plugin.

Somfy does not use z-wave.

Curiously the manual that came with my blinds, which are specific to my model, says "Powered by Somfy". Very odd.

Will either of the Bond bridge devices work?

That's kind of my dilemma too. I *think* they might be z-wave, but I see the word "smoky" all over the place too.

Both work for RF devices (which most Somfy are). But if yours are actually Z-wave, then no.

The Pro version is longer range, POE powered, and meant to be wall mounted. The non-Pro also does IR control, requires a local power supply (wall-wart), and is meant to sit on a table or shelf. I 3-D printed a wall mount for mine.
