Z-Wave security key location

Post by jay (support) »

For anyone interested (mostly someone who wants to move their Z-Wave interface to a different platform), you can find the S0 security key is randomly generated by Indigo and stored here:

Code: Select all

  /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 20XY.Z/Preferences/Plugins/com.perceptiveautomation.indigoplugin.zwave.indiPref
Look for the networkSecurityKey list of 16 bytes.

Note Indigo uses S0 encryption only, it doesn't support S2. You may have to convert the list of integers you'll find in that prefs file to a hex string or something, depending on what Home Assistant is expecting.
