z-wave thermostat not reporting or not reporting often

I use the Honeywell z-wave thermostats TH6320ZW. I've noticed lately that my device status on my phone will be the opposite of what the thermostat says.
In the settings I have it set for "only when activity detected". There have been quite a few nights where we have been heating an area that should have been off based on the status in Indigo.
Any help/advice appreciated.

When the problem occurs next check the UI in Indigo on your Mac and see if it is also off. That is, is this just an Indigo Touch UI refresh problem, or did Indigo not receive the Z-Wave command from the thermostat to update the state?

Happened this AM. Heat was on and the UI on the mac and the phone were both off. It had been on for more than an hour.
