ZLink In-Wall Dimmer Z-Wave Error

I added 4 Zlink in Wall Dimmers (ZL-WD-100) to Indigo this morning. Two of the 4 inclusions reported an error. The 2 dimmers that reported an error when locally controlled (on/off/dim) do not report their status to Indido. This is the problem. What can I do to diagnose the issue. I have included the relevant text from the Event Log.

Thanks.

This is the log for the first. No errors. Dimmer is in a single gang box.

Re: ZLink In-Wall Dimmer Z-Wave Error

Try re-syncing the two that aren't working a few more times to see if that helps. If it doesn't, then exclude them, then re-include and re-sync to see if that gets them working.

Re: ZLink In-Wall Dimmer Z-Wave Error

Thanks Matt,

I re-synced the two dimmers and that fixed the issue. Both dimmers now report when locally controlled.

If re-syncing a dimmer did not fix the issue is a "manual reset" of the device/dimmer a procedure that should be done? The procedure to perform a manual reset is included on the instruction sheet.

Yes, a manual reset an help. Normally a manual reset internally is performed as well when you exclude and re-include the module.
