HOWTO: Toggle Wink WNK-MO PIR status LED

I have a few Dome DMMS1 sensors for which I can turn the status (motion detected) LED on or off.

I have a few Wink WNK-MOT1 sensors for which I cannot control the status LED state.

I replaced an old X10 PIR sensor in my bedroom the other day with the Wink sensor and the first time I moved with the lights off I got blasted by a bright blue LED flash. lol

Seems it's not possible to toggle that status LED off on the Wink unfortunately and the Dome sensor I haven't seen available in a long time.

Does anyone know of a similar Z-wave sensor that has a status LED that can be toggled or dimmed?
