Z-wave Include error with Aeotec aerQ Temperature & Sensor

Trying to include this device and getting:

Z-Wave Error the node included has the same ID as a node already in use by Indigo
Z-Wave Error to change the encryption state of the device you must exclude it before re-including it

In including 100+ devices, I have seeing this before but when you re-include, it works. Well this time, I have tried 5-6 times and always get the same error.

Why? any suggestions?

Did you try excluding it first and then re-including it (without encryption)? If so copy/paste the complete Event Log showing the exclude, re-include, and re-sync into a reply and we'll dig deeper into it.

Thank you for jumping so quickly. Before I did as you suggested, rebooted the server, as it had been a while. Excluded the device and it finally worked without error.
