Driver for Aeon Labs Z-stick gen2 for MAC OS X 10.15.5

Hi,

For many reasons I have started a new server using the latest "Mac Mini (2018)" hardware labeled Macmini8.1. With Catalina 10.15.5 OS.

I had problems getting the Indigo server to talk to the Aeon Labs Z-stick S2 (DSA02203-ZWEU). The root cause here is that Apple has tightened the security for installing kernel extensions. This led to the serial drivers needed was not installed properly.

The driver v2.4.2 found at:
https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
which is not signed with latest key did not install correctly.

The solution for me was to use the v2.4.4 found in the FTDI user forum:
http://www.ftdicommunity.com/index.php?topic=505.0
Notice that You have to register to be able to download.

Loading the v2.4.4 driver also enabled the communication with my RFXtrx433E device.
