Fibaro smoke sensor FGSD002 doesn't update battery status

I had to replace the battery in this device (the 3rd time since I have it) and and now (even after a resync) the sensor doesn't show the actual (new) battery level.
The battery is new, but the device still shows the level of the "old" battery.
Never had teh issue before,

What to do? A resync didn't helped. Delete the device?

It didn‘t, Matt. The new battery is since a few days in.

At the moment I think 30 minutes. To test it I’ve also lowered the interval to 5 mins too, but it did’ t make any difference.

Enable Indigo's Z-Wave Debug Logging checkbox (via the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure... menu item), change the wake interval to 5 minutes, then restart the Z-Wave interfaces (via the menu). Let that run for 30 minutes or so (several wake intervals), then copy/paste the Event Log results (or email them to us) and we'll see what is occurring when the module wakes. It is important you restart the Z-Wave interface as that will reset Indigo's built-in battery level checking throttle so it should poll out the battery level the next time the module wakes (and now wait until 12 hours have past).

Ok, thanks, Matt, I will try this tomorrow and post/send the logs.

So it looks like that module is not waking up frequently. Here is Indigo trying to change the wake interval at the beginning:

But then the module never wakes up for Indigo to push that change to it. Kind-of a chicken/egg problem in that you have to wait for the original wake interval duration to pass before a module will wake up and can accept be changed to a shorter duration.

I'm not sure how the FGSD002 works, but you might want to try forcing it awake. If that isn't possible or doesn't work, then I would recommend excluding, re-including, and re-syncing it.

I've tried twice (last time today in the morning) but I didn't succeeded, it still shows 5% battery.

1. Exclude
2, Delete teh device from Indigo

That sounds good. The Indigo device delete shouldn't be needed but won't hurt. Note though it might delete dependent Triggers, Schedules, Action Groups.

Yeah, that‘s the problem. Have triggers, actions, etc. Maybe I won‘t delete it.

sorry for the delay, didn't had the time to take care about the smoke sensor.

Well, I've excluded, deleted and resetted it, now it's showing again the right battery level! :lol:
