I bought zme_kfob but i can't get i to work.
On the box in which i came it says it's a zme_kfob2, the manual says it's a zme_fbob-s.

Z-Wave Syncing - assigning return route to "066 - Remote Dimmable Switch"

Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved encrypt commands: - none -
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved capabilities: routing, battery, beaming, waking
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved wake interval of 10080 minutes
Z-Wave Syncing - device "066 - Remote Dimmable Switch" wake interval changed to 60 minutes

Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved group 3 associations: []
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved group 4 associations: []
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved group 5 associations: []
Z-Wave Syncing - group 1 association to interface already exists (skipping)
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved battery level of 100%
Z-Wave Syncing - created device "066 - Remote Dimmable Switch"
Z-Wave Syncing - complete

I tried to exclude and then include it again but got the same result.

When i press button 1 i get this:

received "067 - Remote Dimmable Switch" scene 1 (0001)

How do i use this remote?

I haven't got one but I think you need to setup triggers one for each button press or type of press (e.g. double, long etc, if the device handles that), probably as follows:
  • Type: Z-Wave Command Received
  • Event: Incoming Command Received from Device > Edit Event Settings...
    • Device: <YOUR ZME KFOB>
    • Received: Button 1 Pressed (etc)
You then need to specify the Action(s) that you want to be performed when a particular button is pressed.

Hopefully that should work. :)

I have other key fobs that it works like you describe but with this one there are no button pressed events.

OK - I guess because the device isn't defined in Indigo yet.

In that case can I suggest your try Peter's Z-Wave Scene Controller

This should do the job. From the Plugin's About info:
This plugin adds support for ZWave Scene Controllers that don't yet have a device definition in Indigo, either because it's a new device or because it's a more complicated inclusion/definition process.

Hope this helps. :)

Re: zme_kfob2 Remote Dimmable Switch

Looks like this one uses the same configuration parameters as the older one so we can get it added to the next release (7.4.2). In the mean time you can do as Jon suggested and user Peter's Z-Wave Scene Controller plugin to create triggers for it.

No. It might be a while. No huge fires to put out at the moment, so we are batching up fixes/tweaks.

Re: zme_kfob2 Remote Dimmable Switch

Indigo 7.5 is now available and includes support for the Duwi Key Fob (ZME-KFOB2).
