Indigo / Z-Stick Gen 5 errors

In the last few days I've started getting a bunch of errors on Z-wave devices that perviously worked ok. See error log below.

How do I correct/repair this?

Looks like your Z-Stick is in a bad state. Try removing the Z-Stick from your Mac for a minute and then plug it back in. Do the errors persist?

Yes, I have unplugged/re-plugged, I've tried rebooted the iMac, I've tried put the offending devices back in 'link' mode and then sync'd those devices. Note, this last step link mode and sync does get the device to be recognized again...however it does not clear the errors you see in the log file above.. Nothing seems to clear those errors.

It sounds to me like the Z-Stick needs to be reset or has malfunctioned. You can reset it via the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Reset Z-Wave Interface... menu item. Note, however, that after you do that you'll need to exclude then re-include all of your Z-Wave modules. If that doesn't help then I would try a replacement Z-Stick. Let us know how it goes...

Ok...so when I do the reset, and begin the exclude / include process, do I need to do anything to the relevant device entries in Indigo (i.e. delete and re-enter each)? Or, will Indigo automatically re-attach to each device as they are included on the Stick?

As you re-include each device, you can point your existing Indigo device reference to the "new" device you included.

Select the device in Indigo and then select Edit.
Select Define and Sync
Under Sync using node, point to the new device under Other Available Node IDs.

These instructions are for Indigo 7.3 and earlier versions may have slightly different labels--but the process is the same. It's simplest to do one or two at a time so you can keep track of things more easily.
