Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

The Fibaro Implant has a built-in temperature sensor (and you can connect up to 6 external DS18B20 temp sensors), so it isn't really magic that it knows the temperature. :D

I think the analog values are just the default floating values being reported to Indigo.

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

Thanks for the explanation.
But the temperature of the Implant is not updating by Indigo (Just like the rest of the parts).
See picture below. That's the "including" date and time a couple of days ago.
It's now 10-15 21.00 hour and the temp has to be ~15 degrees.

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

Did you ever modify the Internal Temperature Interval setting value for the it? From your sync you have it on 0 (disabled).

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

Thanks for the great hint. Default was this temp interval setting 0.
Changed it to 60 seconds:

Z-Wave device "091 - Smart Implant - Binary IN1" parameter 66 "Internal temperature interval" changed to 60 seconds

Wait 2 minutes. Nothing happened. Did a re-sync:

I think like the rest of the Implant parts; they are not communicating back to Indigo at the moment.

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

McJohn,

Don’t forget, when you change a parameter value you need to wait for the device to “wake up” which is usually hourly by default, or by pressing the wake button on the implant.

However after your sync, it should have taken.

Have you still got Zwave Watcher or Debug turned on, to see if it’s sending nonstandard temperature reports?

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

Thanks for the help Peter. It's a permanent powered Z-Wave device (with a 12v power supply), so its syncs immediately, it haven't to wake up.

The temperature possibility of this device is for our detection beam not so interesting.

So, we wait and see when the rest of the parts of the Implant is real supported by Indigo.

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

As Peter said, please turn on Debug logging and then see if it captures any incoming temperature values from the Implant. Right now we have the value routed to the device in the way it appears should work based on the technical documents, but if it is sending the command in some other way then we can try to capture that. If it isn't sending the commands, despite your change to the settings, then there isn't anything Indigo can do about it.

Re: Fibaro Smart Implant

Z-Wave Watcher is now a couple of hours on..
We made an extra Z-Wave Watcher Device for the Smart Implant Temperature.
The only hit we saw was the Binary IN1 (connected to the detection beam).
Sorry.

Z-Wave Watcher Debug Raw command received (Node 91): 01 0F 00 04 00 5B 09 71 05 00 00 00 FF 07 02 00 28
Z-Wave Watcher Debug Raw command received (Node 91): 01 0F 00 04 00 5B 09 71 05 00 00 00 FF 07 00 00 2A
Z-Wave Watcher Debug Raw command received (Node 91): 01 0F 00 04 00 5B 09 71 05 00 00 00 FF 07 02 00 28
Z-Wave Watcher Debug Raw command received (Node 91): 01 0F 00 04 00 5B 09 71 05 00 00 00 FF 07 00 00 2A

Below the settings.
But as said: for the time being we are satisfied with the raw packets trigger from "Any Device".

So mine is 05021000, the same as McJohn and what is already in the Indigo device profile.

Testing underway.
