Steinel RS LED D2 Z-Wave Panel (+ microwave sensor (!) )

Really unique and nice device.

LED panel with built-in microwave motion sensor (work so much better than traditional IR - can actually work via walls / doors / etc) and Lux meter

Easy to include, syncs well. Works now only as an "on / off" panel, motion and lux sensors identified but not working.

Some cool features like ambient light level training, night mode, etc.

Please support it, for me, it's perfect for bathrooms / entrance halls / etc - minimal motion is detected, much more sensible than all other sensors I used (but no false detections).

I'm able to get raw motion on / off events

I've added this to the request list for a complete definition.

In the mean time have you tried creating Triggers on the raw Z-Wave command to be able to detect motion?

Yes, triggers + raw works fine.

Indigo 7.3 - device recognised, but still not working "officially" - motion sensor is always off, light sensor - no readings.

That is correct. We were able to get the Steinel LED Floodlight (XLED home 2) added but the Steinel RS LED D2 didn't make it in.

Any plans to support?

A light level sensor would be really nice to read directly.

Actually purchased one more device - outdoor LED light with microwave sensor, will submit specs ASAP

Submitted a second device - outdoor Microwave sensor + LED light.
Very nice one. Extremely reliable and precise detection can be adjusted to centimetres.

How does the ambient light level training and night mode work? I couldn’t figure it out from the documentation. As I understand, it is non dimmable?

Outdoor light is dimmable.

Home lights are not.

Not using "ambient light level training" - it's designed for a group of devices (to have identical lux readings)
