Trane 524 setpoint not loading

Happy user of Indigo and of the Trade Thermostat 524. Having a problem with the set command. Asking the thermostat to change its set point and it is not doing it. Any troubleshooting you would recommend ?
Thank you!

My guess is that it the thermostat is wanting (or at least currently using) Celsius but you are trying to set Fahrenheit, so the values are out-of-range of what the thermostat will allow.

Does it work if you set it to 25 or 26?

Re: Trane 524 setpoint not loading

Thanks Matt, so being patient, the Thermostat loaded the F degrees. Not sure why it did not load the first time. Since then, have switched back to C and also loading.
Happy ending, not sure why it did not load the fist time. Now working on moving the setpoints to variables as I want to use different temperature sensors I have set in the house.
Great Indigo as usual :) Eric

By the way, there are no Trane Thermostat thread, would it be possible to create one so all Trane thermostat users can share their use of Indigo/Trane Thermostat ?

Enjoy my Trane 524 but just lost communication with it (tried a reset by opening/shutting power to the thermostat but still not communicating)
Anybody with that experience ? Thank you

Have you tried excluding it and then re-including it (and after successful include, re-sync)?

Re: Trane 524 setpoint not loading

Yes Matt, thanks for pointing it out. Now the exclusion failed. I tracked that down to the last electrical change I did (changing a 2 gang to an 8 gang). Having moved the power of a lot of electronic systems, I had degraded the signal/noise ratio and lost the Thermostat communication. I have moved the MiniMac/ZWave closer to the Thermostat and all back to normal. I have to find the source of the noise to move back the Mini Mac where it belongs.
Thanks again!

Re: Trane 524 setpoint not loading

Last update: went back to my 8 gang and changed the way my noise filter is positioned versus the about 20 electronic appliances ... and solved :)
Ready to automate the X10 outlet to save energy at night !!
