I'm about to purchase some Qubino RGBW devices as they have some attractive features. I already have a number of Quibino devices and although they are finicky to set up when leveraging all features, they are a good product. This feels like the same multi-channel issue that I have with the Qubino Flush 1D when I want to use the switch, temperature probe, and sensor input together. Is there a fix on the horizon for the multi-channel issue?

We added support for the basic functionality of the Qubino Flush RGBW Dimmer (ZMNHWD) to Indigo 7.4.1, so it should work. That said, it is definitely another complicated Qubino module, so getting it included, configured, and working might not be "simple." Let us know how it works for you.

Note also the Flush 1D should be working, I think as of 7.0. If that isn't the case for you then can you describe what you are seeing (or point to the forum thread you are referring to about the multi-channel problem)?

Thanks Matt. I may have my terminology wrong, but was referencing the the include-exclude-include machinations to get all the Qubino features working. I was hoping that there was a more elegant way in the works to include these devices. It seemed like the RGBW device had similar peculiarities to the Flush 1D. That said, the Qubino RGBW and Flush 1D have unique capabilities, so I'll keep using them.... As always, thanks for the quick response!

Has anyone got the specific end point associations working with these yet?

The Qubino Flush RGBW Dimmer (ZMNHWD) auto included and works as expected with an RGBW strip. BTW, on another note, 7.5 is noticeably faster across devices.

Matt:

I notice the Z-Wave speedup in 7.5.0 also!

However I am still seeing a need to resync all of my "Qubino Z-Wave Plus RGBW Controller ZMNHWD3" units every time I reboot my Indigo server. (The server is an Intel Mac Mini running macOS 10.15.7 (and Indigo 7.5.0.) Not debilitating but a nuisance, and puzzling. I can't figure out if it's Qubino, Aeotec (Z-Stick), or Indigo, or some combination.

I know you guys have limited cycles, but if me sending you a unit (purchase and have it delivered to you) would help, i.e. if you thought you might find time to try it but don't have one, I could do that.

Thanks,
--greg

Hi Greg,

After looking at your previous Event Log posts again, I'm thinking this is an Indigo bug related to how the device defined is dynamic (it can be either a normal dimmer, or an RGB device). I'll look into this some more ASAP and get you a beta version of Indigo's Z-Wave Library to try.

I've noticed the same behavior with my Qubino RGBW Controller.

@Matt: I just realized something that might (or might not...) be useful or interesting. It seems the Z-Wave connection is actually still working, at least in part, after a reboot. Specifically I just realized that when I reboot the server, the "Turn On" and "Turn Off" buttons of the device actually DO work (the LEDs go on and off), but the "W" (white) slider/dimmer does NOT, and the "RGB" color choosing mechanisms do NOT. The UI elements for those mechanisms (W and RGB) seem to "snap back" to 0/null whenever I change them, and the LEDs never seem to go on. BTW, I'm running Indigo 7.5.0.

As always, thanks.

I have a similar experience, and a sync seems to clear it.

Hey Matt, I loaded the new release today. I noticed that this issue is still there. Was it fixed? If so, do I need to delete and re-include the Qubino RGBW device? Thanks.
