Re: Fibaro Wall Plug Type G FGWPG-111 (UK Socket)

I to am a bit disappointed that this did not make it as I had submitted the definition via Indigo back in June. Really hope to see it in 7.2.1 especially with the up to date subscription service :)
Appreciate all the work you guys do though on 7.2.

Thanks

Stephen

Noted, but if I understand this thread correctly it is working well now. The only thing missing is UI for the configuration parameters, but those can still be set now via the Modify Configuration Parameter... menu. Is that correct?

We have to prioritize things, and we tend to favor adding devices that don't work before devices that do work but just don't have UI for config settings (since there is the ability to generically set parameters).

Indigo 7.3 (and 7.3.1) are now available and should support the Fibaro Wall Plug Relay (FGWPG111).

unable to switch off

I have two of these devices. One for about a year that is working perfectly; the other just very recently.
I am unable to switch off the new socket. Any ideas ?

I note that parameter 1 can be set via UI option : Force module to always ON (disable OFF)
Param 1 is defined as per : https://manuals.fibaro.com/document/fgw ... arameters/
However, neither the UI or the Modify Configuration Parameter options seem to work, and the device is left on all the time.

When I try to read the value of parameter 1, I get:
Z-Wave Error failed to read value -- device may not support parameter 1 or may be asleep
(This happens on the existing device (this is working fine) and the new device (which does not want to switch off).

When I sync the device, I get the following:
2023-10-16 21:40:59.207 Z-Wave Syncing - started for "study power socket"

This is remarkably similar to the existing device.

Any thoughts or pointers appreciated.

Is this one newer than the one that's working? The device does seem to be indicating to Indigo that it doesn't support that parameter. Clear your Event Log window, turn on Z-Wave debugging, and resync. Then paste in the log so we an see what the device is sending when we try to access that parameter.
