I am now playing a little more with Z-wave with moderate success. I have installed one of these locks to replace a morninglinc.

I have confirmed its on my network.

May 23, 2018, 12:13:29 PM
Z-Wave Syncing - started for "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)"
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved module neighbors list: - none -
Z-Wave Syncing - assigning return route to "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)"
Z-Wave Syncing - assigned return route
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved manufacture and model names: Yale - 0129, Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220) - 00010000
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved protocol version 3.34, app version 21.32
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved class hierarchy: Routing Slave : Entry Control : Keypad Door Lock (04 : 40 : 03, base 62)
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved command classes: 20v1 62v1 63v1 86v1 98v1 72v1
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved encrypt commands: - none -
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved capabilities: routing, beaming, security, frequentWaking
Z-Wave Syncing - complete
Z-Wave sent "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)" status request

The trouble is that it neither locks or unlocks

The logs shows

Z-Wave sent "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)" lock
Z-Wave sent "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)" unlock
Z-Wave sent "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)" lock
Z-Wave sent "002 - Keypad Lever Lock (AYRL220)" status request

But no acknowldegement and no action on part of the lock... Any thoughts?

Still no joy. Shouldn't the lock respond to the unlock and lock??

Thanks

Follow the Changing Existing Hardware Inclusion to Use Encryption section of the page Jay linked to. You have to completely exclude the module, then re-include it using Indigo with encryption. The inclusion time is the only time encryption can be specified.
